Good to know

The Sanctuary was created around a simple belief: where you stay can change how you feel. Rejuvenate with easy mornings, serene evenings, and unhurried time with those who matter most—including yourself. Every detail has been chosen with intention to create a stay that feels restorative, peaceful, and deeply connected to the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. We invite you to settle in and experience the mountains differently. Designed for up to four guests, this two-bedroom retreat features an open living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen for preparing favorite meals, and a dedicated coffee and tea bar. Gather by the electric fireplace, or step onto the private deck to enjoy the mountain views and outdoor fire table. Upstairs, the primary “cloud” bedroom offers a serene setting designed for restful nights. The second “forest” bedroom features two twin beds and a tucked-away workspace for remote work, reading, or meditation — making it especially comfortable for children, friends, or adults who prefer separate beds. Two full bathrooms, a half bathroom downstairs, in-home laundry, high-speed Wi-Fi, and dedicated parking directly in front of the property make your stay easy and comfortable. The location offers a wonderful balance of modern mountain escape and easy access to Gatlinburg. Explore the galleries, studios, and locally owned shops of the Arts & Crafts Community, walk to the free Gatlinburg Trolley, or reach downtown Gatlinburg in approximately 10 minutes by car. With Great Smoky Mountains National Park also just minutes away, The Sanctuary is an inviting home base for exploring, unwinding, and discovering the Smokies. Driving distance to many sights and attractions including Dollywood, Anakeesta, Ober Mountain, Rocky Top Sports World.

Other Details to Note

Please note that The Sanctuary is a two-story home, with both bedrooms located upstairs and stairs required to access them. We are located in a small condominium development with neighbors on both sides. We ask guests to be considerate of our neighbors, particularly when enjoying the deck and during quiet hours (10 PM–8 AM). Black bears and other wildlife are part of life in the Smoky Mountains and may occasionally be seen in the area. Please never approach or feed wildlife, and never leave food or trash outside or unattended on the deck. The home is not specifically childproofed. Families with children are very welcome, but children should be supervised, particularly on the stairs and deck.
